Next Steps
Bridge Teams
Bridge Teams give each person an opportunity to use the gifts and talents that God has given them. We believe God can use you to make a difference. There are opportunities every week to make a difference in the lives of our community.
Each team has a specific role that they play in helping us create an environment where people can connect to Jesus. When you sign up for a team you are not locked into that role. We want you to simply come and check that role out. Observe what that team does and see if that would be a great fit for you. If you feel like this is the role for you, we will then walk with you to make sure you feel equipped.
Here are our service teams to help you decide where to start. The important thing is to start, try a team, and make a difference.

How it works
First step: Sign up and one of our team members will follow up with you.
Second: Set up a time to observe the role.
Third: Join the team, find the right schedule, and begin learning how to serve in your new role.
Fourth: Make a difference in the lives you are serving!
Set Up & Tear Down
This is a vital part of what we do here at The Bridge Church. If we didn’t have either team, it would make it incredibly difficult to create welcoming environments for people to worship. Our setup team starts early but does a great job getting our rooms ready for service. Then immediately following service, the tear-down team works to make sure everything goes in its place and into our trailer.
Team specifics
Set up teams: 4:00 to 5:30 PM on Saturday. We have 3 teams that rotate once a month. Unload trailer, set up the auditorium, children’s area, and lobby.
Tear down: Immediately following service (11:15 AM to 12:00 PM).
Family Ministry Team
Bridge Kids (Children’s Ministry)
One of our core values is to bridge the generations, and what better way to be a part of that than by serving on our Bridge Kids team? We strive to connect kids (0-12) to Jesus and help them grow into lifelong followers of Christ. We create a fun and engaging learning environment to build strong biblical foundations for everyone.
Bridge Kids has a serving role for everyone. Whether you’d like to lead a lesson or simply be an extra pair of hands, we can use you. There are roles available in greeter/check-in, tech, assistant, teaching / small group leader, theme/decor, and setup/tear down. As a Bridge Kids volunteer you are investing in the next generation today!
Specific roles: Greeter/check-in at the beginning of service, tech team, weekday support with theme and decor, and an assistant in a room (Babies – 4 years old, Kindergarten – 3rd grade, or 4th & 5th grade).

Bridge Students (Student Ministry)
The wave starts in the next generation. Do you love to work with middle school and high school students? We have the chance to lay a biblical foundation for students and help them navigate life with Jesus. We all know how hard this age can be for each individual, but how rewarding it can be to help the next generation grow to their full potential. Bridge Students meet every week during the 10:00 AM service.
Specific roles: Small group leader, hospitality team, parent communications.
Worship & Tech Team
Worship Team
Are you a musician? Do you aspire to grow in your musical abilities? You may have the gift of singing or playing an instrument. Whatever the case may be, we would love to give you the chance to be a part of Bridge Worship.
Tech Team, Social Media & Pictures
Do you have a creative side or love technology? We believe God can use these avenues to connect people to Jesus daily! Most people who come to our church will visit us online first. This is an important team to help people see what God is doing in our church before they attend, and stay connected after they do.
Tech team: This person runs the visual display and/or sound for our church service (8:30 to 9:30 AM run-through, and during our service at 10:00 AM).
Social media / pictures: Taking pictures during service and events, creating content and posts for social media.
Church Online Team
During our live stream, you will interact and connect with those in the chat room on Facebook and YouTube.
Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team is the front door to Sunday morning service. We believe the message starts in the parking lot. We want to create an inviting and welcoming place here at The Bridge Church, from smiles in the parking lot to helping people take their next steps in our connect center. This team plays a big role in the vision of our church. The hospitality team arrives 30 minutes prior to service and works with your availability.
Specific roles
Safety team: As a volunteer on this team you will serve during one of our two services.
Greeters: Our greeters serve 10 minutes prior to each service in various locations to help guide people who attend each week.
Hospitality (food and coffee): This team provides breakfast for our set up team and then helps keep refreshments available before each service. This team rotates so that each person serves once a month.
