Get Ready Campaign
The Get Ready campaign is how we're preparing for what's next as a church family, including our future Bridge Community Center project. A portion of every gift to The Bridge Church already goes toward this savings, and Get Ready gifts help us get ready for the road ahead a little faster. Every gift is tax-deductible.
What we're working toward
The Bridge Church launched in January 2018 and meets each Sunday on the USCB campus in Okatie. Our next chapter is the future Bridge Community Center: a permanent home for our Sunday services, weekly Bible studies, and family ministries, with room to serve our community every day of the week, not just Sunday. Ten percent of every gift to the church already goes into savings designated for this project, and every Get Ready gift moves us toward it faster.
We're praying over land between I-95 and Highway 170, an area that puts us in reach of both Beaufort and Jasper counties, home to more than 100,000 people who don't attend church anywhere. To secure a loan for 3 to 10 acres in this fast-growing part of the Lowcountry, we need to raise $250,000 in reserve for the land purchase deposit — the step we're taking right now.
Our vision
Our prayer is that The Bridge Community Center will help us “bridge the gap” for our neighbors — offering affordable child care, after-school care, food programs, clothing, and practical life help, all built on the principles of the Bible. We want this building to do more than host a Sunday service; we want it to serve the Lowcountry seven days a week.
Why it matters
A permanent home means Bridge Kids and Students finally have space built just for them, our small groups and Bible studies have somewhere to meet midweek, and our neighbors in Bluffton and Okatie have a place to turn for real, practical help. With the Lowcountry growing fast, this is our chance to be ready to welcome everyone God sends our way.
